Micro Beef Technologies’ Food Traceability Platform Creates
"A Solution for America"

Denver, Colorado – Micro Beef Technologies, Ltd. will present the American beef industry the most comprehensive offering of animal tracking, traceability, and integrated beef management solutions available during the 2006 Cattle Industry Annual Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Trade Show February 1-3 at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver in booth number 915. Founded in 1971, Micro Beef Technologies is the global leader in the innovation, development, and implementation of real-time computerized livestock management systems.

As American food producers and health officials continue searching for a food traceability platform to meet their data collection, reporting, and tracking needs, Micro Beef Technologies offers a solution to an American challenge.

Micro Beef Technologies understands the uniquely American environments and challenges that face farmers and ranchers in the field of animal identification, traceback, compliance, and management programs. The ACCU-TRAC® portfolio of systems by Micro Beef Technologies provides producers alternatives matched to their specific operations and management practices. These producer-driven alternatives include every conceivable method of identifying and managing animals including paper-based systems, web-based systems, laptop solutions, and permanent chute-side configurations that can be customized by location and even automated.

Micro Beef Technologies will again add to the ACCU-TRAC® Systems Suite by launching ACCU-TRAC® Mobile. The proprietary system developed by Micro Beef Technologies and Mobile Data Force is an easy-to-use, ruggedized, portable handheld computer designed to record animal identification information and go anywhere for any type of livestock operation. ACCU-TRAC® Mobile will be available for demonstration in Denver along with the full suite of ACCU-TRAC® Systems.

As part of “A Solution for America”, the ACCU-TRAC® Suite is focused on the unique needs of the producers who use these tools, simplifying data collection processes so that farmers and ranchers can unlock the value of animal identification and tracking. The ACCU-TRAC® Suite is backed by 35 years of experience in the United States livestock industry.

The ACCU-TRAC® Systems seamlessly integrate into the proven Animal Data Service, Ltd. high-performance, multi-species central database. The database, launched in June, 2005 by Micro Beef Technologies, is a mission-critical, private, centralized American database designed to safeguard the health of the U.S. national herd, protect America’s producer interests, and meet the 48-hour traceback requirements of state and federal health officials in the currently voluntary National Animal Identification System.

Micro Beef Technologies stands alone in the food safety solutions world with more than 20 years of pioneering experience and expertise in the field of animal identification and tracking. The combination of the innovative ACCU-TRAC® Systems and the Animal Data Service, Ltd. private central database creates a food traceability platform for data collection, reporting, and tracking to uniquely and comprehensively provide “A Solution for America”.

During the Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Tradeshow, Micro Beef Technologies will sponsor the NCBA Technology Center, “Wild, Wild West” Tradeshow Welcome Reception with entertainment by the Elana Trio, and the National Cattlemen’s Foundation Vision Awards ceremony.
