PRECISE MICRO INGREDIENT DELIVERY SYSTEM MAXIMIZES
POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF ADDITIVES

The MICRO-WEIGH SYSTEM is the only automated micro ingredient delivery system of its kind. It accurately weighs both liquid and dry ingredients and uniformly delivers them to the ration. Cattle receive the right amount of recommended additive in every bite of feed, guaranteeing the maximum benefit possible from the additives used.

Accurate Weighing

  • Maximizing the performance potential of cattle means delivering the appropriate ration for each health need and each stage of growth. Creating the appropriate ration begins with the precise measurement of each micro-ingredient.

Proper Mixing and Uniform Delivery

  • Even when ingredients are accurately measured, the benefit is lost unless the additives are properly mixed and delivered consistently to every bite of feed. Micro’s is the only system that thoroughly mixes all ingredients.

1. INDIVIDUAL INGREDIENT STORAGE

The system’s storage capabilities allow program flexibility for up to six dry and six liquid ingredients.

2. ROTATION CAPABILITY

The Weigh Hopper rotates upside down to drop ingredients into the mixing tank. The hopper delays in the upside-down position while a vibration facilitates clean out. The next cycle will not start until the hopper returns to its original position.

3. WEIGH FRAME ISOLATION

The system’s weighing mechanism is isolated from other components by a separate frame to ensure weighing accuracy.

4. MIXING TANK

An automatic, completely flush feature guarantees delivery of all ingredients to the correct batch of finished feed. It also eliminates potential carryover.

5.

MIXING IMPELLERS

Variable-speed motorized impellers ensure a homogeneous mixture of all ingredients in the water slurry prior to delivery to the feed.

6.

WEIGH HOPPER WITH DIVIDED COMPARTMENTS

Liquid and dry ingredients are weighed separately in individual, sealed-bottom compartments using half-gram increments.

SEE THE MICRO ADVANTAGES:

Flexibility

  • In order to maximize the performance potential of cattle through all the different stages of growth, you need a micro-ingredient delivery system that’s flexible.
  • The system can be programmed with the exact rations needed for cattle at their various stages of growth.
  • The system can also be quickly reprogrammed to accommodated special needs like changes in climatic conditions or the health requirements of the cattle.

Accurate Weighing

  • Unique load cell system individually weighs both liquid and dry ingredients in precise half-gram increments.
  • The system’s weighing mechanism is isolated from other compartments by a separate frame to ensure weighing accuracy.

Uniform Delivery

  • Liquid and dry ingredients are kept separate in individual, sealed-bottom compartments during the weighing process to avoid clumping.
  • Motorized impellers mix the additives and delivery slurry to ensure a homogeneous mixture before delivery to the ration.
  • An automatic, complete-flush feature guarantees delivery of all ingredients to the correct batch of finished fee. It also eliminates potential carryover.

Quality Control

  • Delivery slurry is sprayed onto the feed to ensure micro-ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the ration.
  • Single step mixing reduces the potential for mixing errors.
  • Computer-controlled system accurately matches medication levels to the animal.
  • Micro’s service commitment keeps the system up and running. Micro has built a service network that provides its customers with regular service maintenance and same-day emergency service.
  • System reduces cross-contamination and mill carryover potential.

Inventory Control

  • Daily Ingredient Report provides inventory control tool. This computer-generated report details the rations made and the amounts of ingredients used, actual versus projected.

Service You Can Count On

Micro Beef Technologies’ service network makes regular preventative maintenance calls on each customer location. Machines are tested and calibrated monthly to ensure proper operation and weighing.

Customers can also call the Micro service line any time for phone support and, upon request, receive on-site service within a 24-hour period. Whether it’s a breakdown or reprogramming request, Micro Beef Technologies responds quickly to meet the need.
