other data tracking systems, the ACCU-TRAC® program
has a data reconciliation step to ensure the right
carcass ID is matched to the right live ID.
All
data collected through- out the ACCU-TRAC® process
is combined for continuous improvement processes and
management decisions throughout all segments of the
industry going all the way back to the ranch where
the process begins again with new calf crops.
Also
unique to the ACCU-TRAC® program is the ability
to recycle RFID tags back to their original owner in
order to obtain multiple uses from each tag and bring
the per usage cost down with the EID TAG RECYCLER Automated
Tag Recycling System.
The
uniqueness of the animal’s identification is
maintained in the database with a unique animal identification
number.
